What brought you into the Karevo AIP Program ?
Well I’ve been a long time member of Karevo since it first began, and have often gone to extreme lengths to train there, at one stage travelling for 8 hours a day to train for 2 hours at a time. I think it was clear to me by this stage that my life was always going to have martial arts in it in some form, After moving permanently back to the North East specifically to train at Karevo and gearing even my working life around this goal, working and training at Karevo for a few months and after lengthy discussions with Karevo founder Mike Carr, the Apprentice In Practice Program came into being.
So tell us about the benefits of Karevo’s AIP Program ?
Well the AIP program allows you individual access to the founder instructor and the mindset that the Karevo Multi-System embodies. Being part of this program gives an enhanced learning experience which can’t be duplicated even as you are effectively inside the thinking processes of your instructor as you learn the skills to be one yourself. Along with enhanced training five day’s a week alongside all the regular classes this makes the AIP program in my opinion probably the best such program in the UK.
Tell us about Mike ?
Mike brings a wealth of experience from various different disciplines to the AIP program along with his unique ability to develop and make constant enhancements to the Karevo Multi-System makes him the perfect instructor to lead and develop this fascinating and dynamic fighting system and the AIP Program.
What are the long term goals of the AIP Program ?
To create a new generation of Karevo instructors and spread the Karevo Multi-System to other clubs nationwide and beyond.
